The Community Archaeology Project, being delivered by The Archaeological Practice Ltd on behalf of the Peregrini Lindisfarne Landscape Partnership, aims to provide volunteering and training opportunities to individuals and groups wanting to learn more about the fascinating archaeological history of the North Northumberland coast.

The event, on Sunday from 11am to 3pm at Belford Community Club, will include presentations about prehistoric, Roman and early medieval archaeology, medieval and post-medieval buildings and recent archaeological work conducted at Lindisfarne Castle. Upcoming fieldwork opportunities will also be explained.
