Scores of works by a renowned artist from north Northumberland are being sold at auction this weekend.

Nigel Blagburn, at Alnwick Auctions, is selling around 70 pieces by the late Malcolm Gleghorn, who lived in Newton on the Moor from 1967 until his death in 2009, as well as some of his equipment such as brushes and paints.

The sale takes place this Sunday from noon in the auction house at Station Yard, behind Barter Books.
