Last orders as Alnwick pub closes for business
An Alnwick pub has closed its doors.
The Oddfellows Arms, on Narrowgate, has called time on trading and is currently up for sale. A statement on the pub's Facebook page, which was posted just a few hours ago, said: 'Would just like to say thank you to everyone that had been in the Oddies over the last year and supported us, but we are sorry to say that Oddies has closed down.'
The pub had run several events to try to attract punters, such as karaoke and quiz nights.
Reacting to the news on the pub's Facebook page, people have said that they are sorry to hear of its closure and have described the announcement as a shame.
