Christmas is around the corner and it’s just over a week until one of our biggest attractions will host a unique festive treat.
The Alnwick Garden has been making plans over the last few months to turn the popular attraction into an immersive visual theatre show with projections, lighting, sound and animations.
A Christmas Tale, brought to Alnwick by digital arts company Enchanted Places, will tell the story of how the garden falls under The Winter Sorcerer’s spell. The Garden’s beautiful autumn spirit has fallen asleep and, as it slumbers, an enchanted forest has grown.
Take the after-dark tour of The Garden and encounter illuminations, projections, performances and music, which bring the unforgettable Sleeping Forest to life.
The show, which is suitable for all ages, will be staged every night from Friday, December 18, to Wednesday, December 23.
Tickets and time-slots must be booked for the trail, which will last about and hour in total.
Tickets are available online at www.alnwickgarden.com or by phoning 01665 511350. They are priced at £12 for adults, five to 16-year-olds £7 and under fours free. A family ticket is £32.
