The Peregrini Lindisfarne Landscape Partnership Scheme is a £1.8million project which will fund a wide variety of conservation and engagement projects on Holy Island and the adjacent mainland.

In November 2014, it landed a £1.3million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The partnership is hosting a volunteer conference on Saturday, March 12, from 10am to noon and then 1pm to 3pm at the Bell View Resource Centre in Belford.

The conference will be held across two sessions, both of which will feature the same information.

The speakers will include the community geology, archaeology and archive project contractors, who will give you a run-down of the projects and how you can get involved. Refreshments will be provided.
