A MAN accused of kidnap at a Morpeth school has appeared in court.
Thomas Wragg, 20, formerly of Addycombe Cottages in Rothbury, has been charged with unlawfully taking or carrying away Zak Pringle against his will, contrary to common law, on March 26 this year.
At South East Northumberland Magistrates Court in Bedlington last Friday he was told that the case will be heard at crown court.
Wragg, who now lives in Windsor Road, Swindon, will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on Friday, October 21.
Kayleigh Padden, 21, of Pagoda Lodge, Longhirst, has been charged with the same offence.
The court was told that she was not in the UK, so magistrates issued a warrant without bail.
