Every month, the 120 members of Wooler U3A have opportunities to visit an interesting variety of places and events with various interest groups. Barbara Rattcliff organises special outings, like the most recent one to The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel.

The outing began with a visit to the 300 tonne, 30m horse head sculptures, followed by a ride on the 35m Falkirk Wheel, an hydraulic lift taking the place of 11 locks linking the Forth and Clyde and Union Canals.
