JUTLAND: Investigating family links
I read with great interest the article on Jutland 1916, (Northumberland Gazette, May 26).
It was clearly laid out with the principal characters’ brief descriptions.
My father was a naval officer who served under Admiral Jellicoe and I have written to Professor Tweddle at the National Museum of the Royal Navy to find out if my father participated in this historic sea battle.
