Judges inspect beautiful blooms

Judges from Northumbria in Bloom descended on Alnwick last Thursday to cast their eyes over the town's floral efforts.

As part of the visit, the judges popped into The Alnwick Garden.

This included a stop at the attraction’s Roots and Shoots Garden, which gives adults and children the opportunity to learn vegetable-growing techniques and to taste the best of what the harvest has to offer.
