Jo is star performer for Harriers in Amsterdam Half Marathon

A group of five Alnwick Harriers took part in the TCS Amsterdam Half Marathon on Sunday (October 16), where the star once again was Jo Gascoigne-Owens.

On a warm autumnal day in the Dutch capital, Jo was the second female to cross the line, which is an amazing feat in a big city race, in a splendid 1.22.51. She was the 102nd finisher in a field of nearly 15,000.

Husband Stuart Morris was next, followed by Mark Doctor, both of whom were very satisfied with their times. Samantha Embleton, not long after rejoining the club, was next followed by Melanie Buchanan.
