Now its third year and having already raised in excess of £165,000, the Big Learner Relay Pudsey Top Box will be relayed from one driving school to another over the 15-day event, covering 3,000 miles-worth of driving lessons.

Donations can be made to Ian Gunby School of Motoring and a message of support can be written on one of the many spots on his car.

The Duke of Northumberland has very kindly given permission for the relay handover to take place at Castle Square on Sunday, November 13, from 10.45am to 11.30am.

There will be entertainment provided by talented singer Emily Smith and professional saxophonist Jonny D, Pudsey will be making an appearance and there will be hot drinks and cakes available.

Being Remembrance Sunday, there will be a two-minute silence at 11am followed by the last post being played by Jonny D.

Serving members of the armed forces or veterans are welcome to attend in uniform if they wish and members of the public are invited to come along and show their support.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to donate, contact 07926 571591 or text Pass85 £AMOUNT to 70070.
