The Produced in Northumberland verification scheme allows producers, retailers, hospitality businesses and serviced accommodation providers the opportunity to promote themselves as a local food advocate. It will highlight those businesses producing, using and selling local food and drink.

The scheme is a collaboration between the Public Health Protection Service at Northumberland County Council and Active Northumberland, supported by Northumberland Tourism.

It is being launched at Kirkley Hall on Friday, February 26. For details and to book a verification, call Ken on 01670 623794.
