Impressed MP presents prizes

Longframlington Show was held on Saturday and although it is an indoor event, it is still appreciated when the weather plays ball which encourages villagers to come out and enjoy the yearly event.

Prizes were awarded by MP Anne-Marie Trevelyan, who was impressed by the standard of exhibits and the effort put into making the show a success. Growers had experienced difficult weather conditions this year, but still managed to pull together a splendid array of flowers and vegetables complemented by the cookery and handicraft sections which showcased the talent within the village.
