Green-fingered folk are getting one last chance to have their gardening efforts rewarded.

The Gazette has again teamed up with Alnwick in Bloom to promote its annual gardening competition.

Today is the last time we’ll be printing the form you need to fill in to enter, with the closing date extended to 9am on Monday.

There are four categories: Best Garden; Best Display (Containers); Best Retirement Complex; and Best Commercial Premises.

The form is on Page 30 of this week’s Gazette. Return it to Gardening Competition, Northumberland Gazette, 32 Bondgate Without, Alnwick, Northumberland, NE66 1PN.

The Alnwick in Bloom judges will then visit all of the entrants next week. Prizes for first, second and third will be presented in September.
