How Alnwick has changed '“ or not!
These pictures of Bondgate Within (top) and Bondgate Without (bottom) show how Alnwick's main roads have changed in the last couple of centuries.
Kindly given to us by Alnwick historian Adrian Ions they show no cars but horse and carts, yet the general buildings along the streets have changed very little over the years.
