House-builder appoints new contracts boss

Kevin Chatterton, 56, joins the Newcastle-based regional operation after a career in the construction industry spanning 40 years.

Having moved from his former position as a Construction Director, which he held for nine years, Kevin brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in contract management.

He said: “I’m really excited to be taking on the Contracts Manager role with Barratt, which will allow me to impart my experience and knowledge of the industry as a whole to the contracts team.

“It’s a great progression for me, and I’m already looking forward to the new opportunities my role will bring.

“Having spent 40 years in construction, I have built up a solid knowledge of the industry and I’m eager to get started in my new role.”

Scott Lester, Construction Director at Barratt Developments North East, added: “We are delighted that Kevin has taken on the role of Contracts Manager.
