Miller says that the development will be built to the highest of standards, catering for first-time buyers, growing families and downsizers.

The first homeowners are expected to move in by April 2018.

Andrew Somerville, regional sales manager at Miller Homes North East, said: “Shoreland Park is ideally situated and we are anticipating a high level of interest.

“During our opening weekend we will have a great selection of contemporary energy efficient homes available for buyers to choose, including The Travers, a brand new housetype we are introducing to the region.

“Our team of friendly sales advisors will be on hand from 10.30am on Saturday to help buyers in finding their dream new home in time for Christmas and to advise on our range of incentive schemes that are available to assist buyers in making their next move.”
