Holy Island rescue team go to the aid of woman in early hours call out

An elderly woman was helped home by rescuers after becoming lost on Holy Island early today, Wednesday, April 14.

HM Coastguard Holy Island went to the aid of the lady after a report at 1.26am, saying she was disorientated and struggling to walk.

A spokesperson said: “They’d been out since daylight and was feeling the effects of the 2c night.
