A DISPLAY of photographs have gone on show in Amble.
The exhibition, by Amble Social History Group, focuses on the harbour and includes the brickworks and the railway line.
It is being held in the town council meeting room, in the Warkworth Harbour Commissioners building on the Quayside, until September 16.
It will be open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and a representative of the group will occasionally be on hand to answer any questions.
The group has also produced slide show DVDs of old and new Amble; People and Places. They cost £3 each from the Harbour Post Office, on Percy Street, Main Post Office and JK Crafts, both on Queen Street, and Alan’s Paper Shop, on Newburgh Street.
