Martin Trinder, 37, launched Lennon Properties in 2015 and has sold 40 homes, let out 120 and secured a portfolio of more than 230 residential and commercial properties throughout Northumberland.
The business, based in Seaforth Street, is well on its way it reaching its first year turnover target of £250,000 after receiving significant advice from Jesmond-based Robson Laidler Accountants and Business Advisors.
Martin said: “I have always had a keen interest in the property sector. Having purchased and sold my first property in 1997 at the young age of 18, I decided to put the skills I developed over the years to better use and set up my own unique business.
“I like to think I’ve remained true to my roots by investing in Blyth, and contributing to the local community. Thanks to the advice from Robson Laidler the business is going from strength or strength.”
In 2015 Martin partnered with Annmarie Clark to launch Lennon Properties, named after Martin’s ten-year-old son Lennon.
Lennon Properties has expanded into commercial development by launching Imagine Build & Maintenance, whose projects include Regent Snooker Hall and the conversation of the former Blyth HSBC Bank branch into luxury town centre apartments.
They also have secured a maintenance contract for 150 residential properties.
