Helping hand into business

A NEW north Northumberland social enterprise is delivering another series of workshops for people who may be looking to set up a new business or enterprise.

Northern Reaction is running the sessions in the Resource Centre, Seahouses, throughout June after a similar series in Wooler.

They are in a block of four and are designed to be informal and friendly, helping attendees to recognise themselves as an enterprising person, explore their strengths and weaknesses, develop problem-solving techniques and give them ideas for their next steps.

Northern Reaction is a project run by Reaction, Glendale Gateway Trust and Seahouses Development Trust and serves north Northumberland.

The four workshops take place from 1pm to 3pm on Thursday, June 9, 16, 23 and 30.

They are open to anyone over the age of 16 but registration is required and you will need to attend all four sessions.

Contact Graeme Cooper on 01665 721868 or for more information and to register for the workshops.
