Supporters of this year’s Jam Jar Army campaign can now spread the word as they raise funds with new posters and stickers for jam jars available.
Similar to those used in previous years, the A4 posters and stickers designed to go on the front of jam jars to collect all your loose change now feature the RNLI logo, alongside the Amble Shannon lifeboat appeal.
The Gazette has a quantity at its office if you want to get involved and the Amble Lifeboat Fundraisers also have them to distribute.
There are two types of stickers – one for collections in homes and businesses and another for schools.
We would like to encourage as many schools as possible to get involved and back this year’s campaign to bring a state-of-the-art new lifeboat to Amble.
As well as the usual drop-off points for full jars in Alnwick – the Gazette office on Bondgate Without and the Lions bookshop on Bondgate Within – there are now three collection points in Amble.
These are Easyway, on Wellwood Street, Rook Matthews Sayer, on Queen Street, and the Fourways 2 building.
