Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing 23-year-old north Northumberland woman.
Katie Grout, from Goldstone in Berwick, left her home at around 7am yesterday (Thursday, October 8).
She is described as white, 5 feet 5” tall, very slim build, with shoulder length brown hair with a small scar under her chin.
She was wearing black-and-white checked trousers, black long-sleeved top and grey boots. Katie left home driving her silver Vauxhall Corsa car registration DY61 HJJ. She was spotted near Harthill Service Station on the M8 and is believed to be travelling to Glasgow. Police are concerned for her welfare and are carrying out inquiries to locate Katie.
Officers are appealing for Katie to make contact with them, or anyone who recognises her to call police straightaway.
