A restaurant which encourages healthy eating is to close next week, just seven months after opening.
The Nood Food Emporium, in Alnwick, will shut at the close of play on Wednesday.
The eatery, which launched in November, serves healthy options and caters for specific dietary requirements.
But in a statement on Facebook earlier this week, Claire Hanson and Louise Maughan said: “We have had to make a very difficult decision to open our doors for the last time on Wednesday. We feel that due to the nature of our concept, there are many things that have not worked for us as a business in Alnwick.
“We believe in what we created and have so much positive feedback on the food we are producing, but not enough to sustain us. We have ideas on how to move forward as a business and would appreciate any feedback from you and we will take this on board for our future developments.”
If anyone has a loyalty card and any questions about redeeming it, send a private message on the Nood Food Emporium Alnwick Facebook page.
