Healthcare Trust celebrates the hat-trick
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has won a trio of awards, including Trust of the Year, at the Patient Experience Network (PEN) National Awards.
It is the third time the Trust has been named Trust of the Year by PEN.
The other Northumbria projects to win awards were Palliative Care Northumbria, for its work to improve palliative care in hospital and the community, while a scheme to help patients use an assistive hearing device on an elderly care ward at The Northumbria hospital, in Cramlington, won the Patient Insight for Improvement category. The Trust also received five runner-up accolades and is shortlisted for the CHKS Top Hospitals Patient Experience Award.
