Head of sales appointed by Detchant firm

Mark joined Bedmax in 2003 as sales manager for the south of England. During his time in the role, Mark has supported the company’s growth and development, including maximising sales following the opening of the company’s two production plants in Nottinghamshire and Hampshire.

Most recently, Mark has been specifically responsible for the company’s wholesalers, national, multiple accounts and European customers.

A highly experienced sales professional, in his new role Mark will join the Bedmax management team, taking overall responsibility for all international sales agents with a view of expanding sales across these channels as well as managing UK multiple retailers and wholesalers.

A manager and point of reference to the Bedmax sales team, Mark will also support new strategies and developments within the company.

Prior to joining the Bedmax team back in 2003, Mark was heavily involved in the equine industry, in particular the racing sector.

Riding as a National Hunt jockey for 10 years followed by managing a thoroughbred stud has given him a wealth of experience in equine feed and bedding, spanning more than 20 years.

Mark said: “I am thrilled to have been offered the role as head of sales and distribution.

“Having worked for Bedmax for 13 years, I have seen the company grow and develop. I’m looking forward to helping them expand and move forward in the future.”
