Rothbury Highland Pipe Band played while hay was judged by a team of three.

There was also an auction which raised money for charity.

Louise Kirkwood, from the Hay Show committee, said: “Many thanks go to our expert judges Eddie Robson of High Baulk Farm, Great Whittington, Elaine Vickers of Long Myers Farm, County Durham, and Alastair Watson of Dykehead Farm, Morpeth. Also to Chris Armstrong of Hexham & Northern Marts for ably conducting the charity auction and persuading everyone to part with their hard-earned cash for a good cause.”
