Have you seen Albert? Missing elderly man could be in Amble after reports spotting him getting off a bus

Police have released new information regarding a missing man after reports that he was spotted in Amble.

Albert Gray, 87, was last seen by his family on Sunday, February 2 after leaving his home on Weetslade Court, Wideopen.

Nobody has been able to contact him but police have now received information that Albert was spotted getting off a bus in Amble at around 1pm on Monday, February 3, walking towards the Marina.

Albert is described as 5ft 10in, medium build with short grey hair and is believed to wearing a tweed flat-cap, black jacket and beige trousers and shoes.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “Anyone in the area please be on the look out and give us a call if you see him. Thank you to everyone who has shared our appeal so far and those who have called in.”
