Head of operations Andy Lock said: “With 14 per cent of adults in the coalfields out of work and on benefits, and only 50 jobs for every 100 adults of working age, it is essential that we show our support for organisations that are tackling these issues head on.”

The deadline for applications is Friday, June 10. For details, visit www.coalfields-regen.org.uk/what-we-do/social-investment/coalfields-community-investment
