There were four 2s, sharing the pot were Ian Bell,Barry Farrar,Billy Craig and Lawrie Stewart

Then John was also victorious in the John Fife Memorial Salver, along with Ian Hogg and Alistair Smith in the three man texas scramble.

The team’s nett score of 59.7 included five birdies and thirteen pars.In second place were Gerry McInally,George Stokoe and Gary Wilcox with 61.2 and Ray Baston,Ian Bell and Martin Inglis on 61.5

With only two qualifying competitions left its looking like the 2016 Easyway Order of Merit will likely go to Wayne Belisle whose current score is 1881, but there is still a mathematical possibility that he could be caught by Alan Black,1510. It’s very tight for the minor places between Barry Farrar 1400,Guy Ridley 1366 Kevin Murphy 1334 and Michael Friar 1317.
