An Alnwick estate agency, which was set up in 2014, returned from a national awards ceremony on Friday night with two prizes, including a gold for customer service.
On Friday night, hundreds of leading estate agents from across the UK attended a glittering ceremony at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel where the winners of the most highly regarded awards in the industry were revealed.
The winners of The Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2016 in association with The Times and Sunday Times, were presented with their awards by celebrated actor and Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp, with renowned journalist, author and newsreader Penny Smith acting as compere.
Propology Boutique Properties, based in Fenkle Street, picked up the sought-after national gold award for Best Customer Service, having won silver in 2014, and also won a silver in the Best Single Office Northern caterogry.
Propoplogy's managing director, Cherylle Millard-Dawe, said: "Customer service is everything and we are delighted to have reached a standard where our agency in Alnwick is considered the best in the UK.
"A huge thank-you to all of our customers, without you this award would not be possible. We are overwhelmed to have received a second award, silver for best single office Northern category.
"Since we first opened our doors in 2014, we have gone from strength to strength. We are very grateful for the support we receive from our local community who opt to use our services."
Award winners were decided following a rigorous and thorough judging process by a panel of industry experts, beginning with an assessment of entry submissions. The judges then conducted an extensive review of the entrants, including more than 150 hours of telephone interviews and independent mystery shopping exercises. The judging process was overseen by the Property Ombudsman, Katrine Sporle, while president of the NAEA, David Mackie, acted as arbiter.
