Go wild for bird events
Bird-tastic events are taking part for both young and old as part of Alnwick's Bailiffgate Museum's Wild exhibition and projects.
Next week, on Wednesday, there will be a talk at the museum about Barn Owls in North Northumberland, presented by Philip Hamner of the Natural History Society of Northumbria. It takes place at 2pm.
And for youngsters and their grown ups, Northumberland National Park is holding a Birds are Brilliant event at Ingram’s Valley Cottage cafe, with woodland walks, bird-related crafts and more.
