Global flavour to school day
Pupils at Whittingham CofE Primary School finished off their first week of welcome-back activities with Languages Day last Friday.
The children went to school dressed in the colours of a chosen country’s flag or in traditional costume from the country.
All took part in a range of activities including introductory language lessons, art and craft activities, quizzes and they even had the chance to sample food from other European countries at lunchtime.
