Northumberland College’s Kirkley Hall Campus has been announced as one of the main sponsors of this year’s Glendale Show.
The campus will have a stand at the event with reptiles from its zoo and college staff will be on hand to give information on courses.
The event, held on the outskirts of Wooler, will feature a livestock show with sheep, goat and cattle classes as well as industrial and horticultural sections.
Marcus Clinton, vice-principal of Kirkley Hall, said: “The Glendale Show is a truly rural showcase. We have attended in the past as exhibitors and really felt this year that we wanted to up the ante in terms of support.”
This year’s show takes place on Monday, August 25, and will be open from 8am until 5pm.
Tickets are on sale from the Glendale Show website, Brands Newsagents in Wooler and local tourist information centres.
