Warm sunshine brought bumper crowds out to Wooler on Sunday to enjoy the Glendale Festival.
Live bands, street entertainment and the new Wooler farmers’ market helped draw a crowd of all ages to enjoy the event.
The scorching temperatures which blessed this year’s festival made a change from recent years, which have been blighted by wet conditions.
Festival committee chairman Alison Lloydharris said: “After three years of damp weather we were delighted to have a sunny festival.
“Crowds came throughout the day and, as the street entertainment wound up, more than 300 stayed on to enjoy listening to the bands until 9pm.
“The Community Fun Day on Saturday was also good fun with local clubs and volunteers organising crafts, sports and races which the kids loved.
“We’ll start planning next year which we hope will be even bigger than this year because we will be celebrating the festival’s 20th anniversary.”
