German reading group's new season
A German reading group is resuming meetings after the summer break and would welcome new members.
The group started in Alnwick in 1998 and meets every Friday at the Costello Centre, Bailiffgate, from 10am to noon.
There are around 18 members in the group, with various levels of fluency and understanding, and they read and translate novels, have a coffee and a chat, play games, sing songs and occasionally watch videos.
The group will be starting a new book in September.
