Fundraisers take a leap for charity
The caravan owners of Kaims Caravan Park in Bamburgh have been fund-raising for the Children's Heart Unit Fund at the Freeman (CHUF).
They held lots of raffles and a family fun day. Rose Adair and Val Smith both did a parachute jump, which raised over £1,000 and was matched by Rose’s employer Bellway Homes.
Alan Armstrong, who is a keen photographer, donated £5 from every photo he sold, raising over £350.
Susan Jackson, honorary president of CHUF, accepted the cheque.
