Fund-raising summer fair at Northumberland school

Year 8 pupils from Seahouses Middle School organised a summer fair to raise money for the RNLI as part of a series of events linked to the school's Community Week.

Despite the weather, the fair was really well attended by parents, grandparents and other members of the local community.

Seahouses First School pupils also attended and had a great time trying out all the activities.

Headteacher Julie Harris said: “An amazing £1,008 was raised for the RNLI who do lifesaving work on the north Northumberland coast.”
