Flute player Nicola Mirams will be performing in Seahouses this weekend, as part of her efforts to busk in different parts of the country.
The musician will be playing at Seafield Road, between 11am and noon on Saturday. She is raising money for Seahouses Development Trust, with proceeds used to buy new books for its library.
She had originally planned to busk in March but had to cancel due to bad weather.
Sessions further afield include Bristol, Crewe and Leicester.
Nicola, 29, from Leicester, said: “I’ve played the flute for more than 20 years. I’ve always enjoyed sharing my music and helping people and thought this challenge was a perfect way to do both.
“I am looking forward to returning to Seahouses to support the Seahouses Development Trust – hopefully in the sunshine!”
The busking challenge started in December 2017, in Sidmouth, Devon, where she raised more than £150 for Sidmouth Lifeboat.
She has now raised more than £1,000 for the various charities she has supported.
The challenge originated after Nicola was inspired after listening to a podcast, where the guest described how they helped their local community.
