They are designed to give practical advice and support to develop and grow businesses. The experienced trainers will work with businesses to provide support with areas such as finance for business, digital marketing, SEO and social media as well as helping businesses understand how to expand into new markets, reach new customers and manage and develop staff.

All the trainers will deliver workshops, masterclasses and events related to their subject theme and will also provide associated engaging content for the Business Northumberland website, making the information easier for people to access.

Dave Ledger, chairman of Arch, said: “The main objective of the Business Northumberland programme is to help businesses across Northumberland grow and prosper. Whether a business is new, facing challenges, looking to grow or even looking to locate into Northumberland, the Business Northumberland programme can offer valuable advice and support.”

These free workshops and masterclasses will commence in March, but launch events are already happening across the county to give businesses a chance to meet the team and trainers and find out more about the programme as well as a chance to book onto the upcoming workshops.

An Introduction to Business Northumberland (North) event takes place on Friday, March 10, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, including a networking lunch, at Berwick Workspace.
