RESIDENTS will be able to visit a Northumberland tourist attraction for free later this month.
The Grace Darling Museum, in Bamburgh, is waiving admission charges for one day only, on Saturday, November 26.
Visitors will get the chance to make festive decorations in a Christmas Creatives craft activity which will run throughout the day and learn about the kind of Christmas Grace Darling and her contemporaries would have had.
The free-entry day coincides with the village’s Christmas lights switch-on, which also takes place on November 26, with a Christmas service in St Aidan’s Church at 5.30pm before the turning on of the illuminations at The Grove at 6.30pm.
The museum, on Radcliffe Road, is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 10am to 4pm, with last entry at 3.30pm.
