Ford Bridge reopens after flooding
Ford Bridge has reopened after river levels dropped sufficiently for a safety inspection to be carried out.
The bridge, which links Ford with Crookham and the A697, had been closed since the River Till burst its banks last week.
It had meant a lengthy diversion for many motorists, via Doddington to the south or Grindon/Twizel to the north.
