Organiser Elaine Brown said: “The town is fast becoming known for its growing food culture and we are building on this reputation by hosting our first food festival. The response from street food and stallholders has been fantastic with traders travelling from as far has Halifax.”

Cookery demonstrations will be held in the Harbour Village’s Seafood Centre, which will also be open for seafood sales. Chefs giving demonstrations include Mr Bird, Martin Charlton, from the Boathouse Food Group and Tony Binks, of the Barrasford Arms, among others.
