Focus on wildlife at Rothbury talk

The Coquetdale branch of the Wildlife Trust is very fortunate to have Will Nicholls talking on Discovering Northumberland and Beyond at the Jubilee Hall, Rothbury, on Monday, September 1, at 7.30pm.

Will is a 19-year-old wildlife photographer from Northumberland and is fascinated by the natural world.

His favourite mammal to photograph is the red squirrel due to their playful natures and individual characters. He is about to study at the University of Exeter and hopes to become a natural history presenter and film-maker.

He has already had some television appearances, which include Live ’n’ Deadly and on BBC Countryfile. He was young British photographer of the year in 2009.

His book On the Trail of Red Squirrels will be available to purchase at the lecture, along with a selection of goods in aid of the red squirrel group.
