The station yard at Heatherslaw Light Railway on Ford and Etal Estates has been flooded by the River Till.
Reader Gareth Patterson sent in pictures of the situation earlier today.
The basement of the mill on the opposite side of the river has also been flooded.
However, it is believed water levels have now peaked.
The latest update from the Environment Agency states: “River levels remain high following rainfall on Tuesday. River levels on the River Till have peaked but will remain high. No further significant rainfall is expected during Wednesday though light showers continue.
“Further rainfall is expected overnight tonight although the situation is changeable and difficult to predict. Low lying land and roads may be affected. We are constantly monitoring river levels and have workers on standby to clear blockages and operate defences if required.”
