The inaugural event, held last month, was a huge success and raised a fantastic £2,354.68 for the cause, which will support the delivery of 94 hours of Hospice at Home across North Northumberland.

Emma Arthur, HospiceCare’s community and events fund-raiser, said: “Thank you to the 32 professional artists, photographers and craftspeople who generously donated pieces to our exhibition and auction.

“In addition to the pieces that followed our chosen theme of caring, there were many additional donations, in many mediums, which are unthemed.

“Special thanks also has to go to Suzy Kerry, who was our lead volunteer on this fund-raising event – without her work, it would not have been the success that it was.”
