Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service has unveiled its latest recruit – in the form of a new support vehicle.

The 4x4 Mercedes-Benz Incident Support Unit (ISU) will be used to coordinate major incidents and has been specially converted for ‘command and control’ operations.

It is fitted with cutting-edge communications technology that can be used by up to five personnel.
