Film-makers hit target

A production company, which is made up of North East filmmakers and actors, has gone beyond its crowd-funding target to get a film off the ground.

New start-up Zamboni Productions, which includes award-winning filmmaker and director of photography Euan Preston, from Morpeth, raised more than £3,500 to produce a short horror film, Long Gone.

It was shot exclusively at a secret and secluded location in the Chathill area of Northumberland as the fictional village of Fenningbury.
