Hide AdHardy is well-known throughout the North East as a folk fiddler with his own group, the Bottle Bank Band, while Jackson is also a noted folk-dance fiddler.
They first played together nearly 30 years ago with Monkseaton Morrismen and have been continuing their association more recently with a wider repertoire of tunes.
They will be performing upstairs in the bar area during the coffee morning. Coffee is served from 10am to noon and people can enjoy coffee and biscuits, chat with friends and spend time viewing the art on the walls.
The RNLI coffee morning is held each Friday at the Playhouse. The event was originally organised by Alnwick Ladies’ Lifeboat Guild.

Hide AdThe Guild was wound up earlier this year, but past secretary Gwyn Jackson continues to run the event, which has raised nearly £10,000 over the last few years.
Every cup of coffee bought at the weekly sessions helps to fund lifeboat crews in their work of rescuing people.
Over the last 10 years, well over 1,000 people have been rescued from the Northumberland coast alone.
Mrs Jackson said: “The coffee morning is the place to meet friends and linger over a hot coffee or two. We hope tomorrow’s musical entertainment with Stewart Hardy and Bryan Jackson will encourage more people to come in and hear Alnwick’s answer to the Bath Pump Room Trio, the Playhouse Palm Court Duo.”
