Family’s plea over missing dog

A NORTH Northumberland family has offered a £400 reward for the safe return of their dog, which went missing after Christmas.

Lulu, a 14-month-old cockerpoo belonging to the Clarks, disappeared from the family home at 8.30am on Thursday, December 29.

She was a Christmas present for eight-year-old Nell in 2010, but ‘everyone who came into contact with her just loves her’, according to mum Claire.

Lulu was out in the back garden with the family’s older dog when she went missing, but had only been unattended for about five minutes, leading Claire to fear she was stolen.

The family did a massive search on foot and in cars and distributed posters but still have no word of her whereabouts.

They have also set up a Facebook page, Help Find Lulu, which now has 219 members and has helped drum up support from dog rescue centres.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact 01668 219806.
